Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics

Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Clinical duties will be as a Neonatal Attending in the Neonatal Services at Jackson Main, Jackson South and Jackson North Hospitals providing medical care for neonates in these units on a 24 hour 7 days per week rotational schedule. 

• Provide antenatal consultation for high risk pregnancies

• Care and stabilization of infants in the delivery room

• Conduct daily rounds on patients in the different neonatal units

• Administrative duties within the division and the Newborn Service

• Teaching of residents, fellows and medical students

• The position also requires development and participation in original research either clinical or translational for which extramural funding should be sought.

Requirements:

Active Florida Medical License

Board Certified in Pediatrics

Neonatal Board Eligible or Neonatal Experience Preferred

BLS
