Open Positions:

We are hiring Echocardiography Sonographers and Vascular Sonographers to join our innovative Cardiovascular Services team, with opportunities to work in adult and pediatric patient populations across our system.

Echocardiography Sonographer Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiographic studies following IAC and departmental protocols (M-mode, 2D, color flow, pulsed wave, continuous wave Doppler).
• Work with contrast agents, saline bubble studies, portable and stress echo studies.
• Assist with transesophageal echocardiography and mentor trainees.
• Document procedures accurately using advanced information systems.

Vascular Sonographer Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic vascular ultrasound exams (fixed and mobile).
• Proficient in carotid, venous, arterial, abdominal visceral, hemodialysis duplex, and physiological exams.
• Assist vascular surgeons in EVLT procedures.
• Collaborate with providers, medical staff, and outside entities regarding ultrasound matters.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and staff/student orientation.

Requirements

Echocardiography Sonographers:

• Graduate of cardiovascular technology or diagnostic medical ultrasound program (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years echocardiography experience preferred.
• BLS (AHA) required; RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) required.

Vascular Sonographers:

• Graduate of accredited or ARRT-approved ultrasound program.
• 2+ years vascular ultrasound experience preferred.
• BLS (AHA) required; RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) required.
