Job Description

Peach Grove Market is a chef-driven specialty market, deli, and BBQ destination opening in early September 2025. Founded by Chef Chris Galbraith — a Michelin-starred kitchen veteran — we serve from-scratch breakfast, lunch, dinner, deli favorites, fresh bakery items, and signature BBQ from our two awesome smokers.

We’re seeking a talented and motivated Chef to work directly under the Executive Chef/Owner, helping lead kitchen operations, inspire the team, and maintain the highest culinary standards.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations alongside the Executive Chef
  • Lead, train, and inspire BOH staff to uphold Peach Grove Market’s quality and hospitality standards
  • Manage production schedules for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and prepared foods
  • Maintain consistency and excellence in food presentation, flavor, and portioning
  • Ensure efficient prep and service flow in a high-volume, from-scratch kitchen
  • Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
  • Collaborate on menu development, specials, and seasonal offerings
  • Manage ordering, inventory control, and vendor relationships
  • Assist in hiring and onboarding kitchen staff
  • Step in as needed on any station, from butchery and smoking to sauté and plating
Qualifications
  • 3+ years professional cooking experience; fine dining experience strongly preferred
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members
  • Exceptional production and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail in flavor, plating, and service execution
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • From-scratch cooking mindset with an understanding of local and seasonal ingredients
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent (preferred)
  • Passion for hospitality and creating memorable food experiences
