PGH also offers in-house supply chain solutions, brokerage, and consulting solutions for major potato businesses across North America. Position Summary:
We are seeking a Data Analyst to support the Business Analyst and CFO in capturing, organizing, and analyzing key data across our farming and processing operations. The Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in developing accurate reporting and dashboards, improving data visibility, and contributing to data-driven decision-making across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the collection, cleaning, and maintenance of operational and financial data
- Build reports and dashboards in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools to visualize performance trends
- Assist in building data models to support the monitoring of KPIs across the company
- Work with cross-functional teams (farming, operations, finance) to ensure accurate and consistent data collection
- Collaborate with the Business Analyst to automate reporting and streamline processes
- Contribute to the development and documentation of SOPs for data handling and reporting
- Assist with the selection, design, and implementation of the company’s first ERP; maintain data integrity thereafter.
- Perform ad hoc data analysis to support strategic decisions
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort with data visualization tools such as Power BI
- Basic knowledge of SQL or Power Query is a plus
- Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
- Able to work independently while collaborating with remote team members
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or co-op experience in a data-related role is a plus
- Experience working with agricultural or manufacturing operations preferred
- Willing and able to occasionally travel to other locations in the USA (up to 10%)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $50,000 – $650,000 (depending on experience)
- Bonus: 10% discretionary bonus
