Job Title: Electrical Estimator
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Cost Consultant / Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our dynamic team. This role involves using Excel for pricing and takeoffs, typically done in BlueBeam or 3D modeling, and working on electrical scopes.
Responsibilities
+ Develop budget estimates by performing accurate quantity take-offs using plans and specifications, or conceptual information.
+ Review, interpret, and accurately estimate the scope of assigned work as described in the project documents.
+ Apply unit costs and productivity rates as provided by the supervisor.
+ Solicit and collect subcontractor and vendor bids or quotations.
+ Develop and nurture subcontractor/vendor and client relationships.
+ Prepare subcontractor analysis sheets for assigned scope of work.
+ Evaluate changes and subcontractor change order estimates. Provide expertise in all phases of construction work.
+ Perform other duties that are reasonably associated with the above essential functions and additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of experience in semiconductor construction estimating.
+ Strong electrical experience within semiconductor construction.
+ Advanced skill level with Excel for high-paced, high-volume commercial construction.
+ Proficiency in MEP, construction, quantity surveying, and project management.
+ Intermediate knowledge of Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in small wiring (cameras, security systems, life safety) is preferred.
+ Knowledge of On Screen Takeoff estimating software is a plus.
+ Familiarity with Success Estimating Software is a plus.
Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work environment based out of the Lake Oswego office, supporting a project in Boise, ID. The role may require company-sponsored site visits. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Oswego, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $57.69/hr.
