Description
We’re looking for a creative and social media-savvy freelancer to help bring our podcast content to life on social media. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys curating and creating engaging content around conversations, interviews, and topics discussed in podcasts. You’ll also capture behind-the-scenes moments, collaborate closely with our hosts, and help bring the podcast’s personality to audiences in fun and engaging ways.
The ideal candidate is a sharp storyteller with a strong sense of what resonates on social platforms. You’ll identify highlights, create shareable content, and engage audiences in ways that expand the reach and impact of our podcast. This role also involves collaborating across departments, including video, web, and editorial, to ensure social content supports all areas of the brand.
Roles & Responsibilities
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in social media content creation and strategy
Creative thinker with the ability to experiment and iterate quickly
Comfortable working in-person at the NYC office
Strong understanding of audience engagement and content trends
Proven ability to create engaging video and static content for social platforms
Experience with tools like Canva and InShot is a plus
Experience creating engaging social content for a podcast a plus
Compensation
The expected hourly rate for this role is $30 an hour, and a commitment of up to 18 hours per week.
