Salary: $85,150 - 153,925 per year Requirements:

• I require a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university, with at least 6 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 4 years of experience.
• I need candidates who have experience in deriving requirements for complex electrical, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and software systems.
• Experience working with design teams developing hardware and/or software products is essential.
• The position requires a candidate capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment while working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating within a team environment is important.
• I prefer candidates with proficiency in developing Systems Engineering artifacts, including but not limited to Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMPs).
• Candidates must be residents of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
• A secret clearance is necessary, or the candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

• I will assign the Systems Engineer to serve in a “Lead Systems Engineer” role, where mentoring and tasking two junior engineers will be part of their duties.
• This role involves travel to test events, customer sites, and subcontractor sites approximately 10% of the time.
• The Systems Engineer will be responsible for developing systems engineering artifacts, including SEMP, Requirements Specifications, ICDs, Test Procedures, Test Reports, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) content.
• The Systems Engineer will contribute to business development efforts related to the program, including internal research and development (IR&D) efforts and white paper development.
• The Systems Engineer will work in a matrixed organization, supporting multiple programs at once across various engineering fields and team environments, with the opportunity to support different programs as they conclude.
