Position Title: Legal Counsel- Vendor/Commercial Contracts Corporate Title:Assistant Vice President Internal Title: Manager Reporting to: Director, Legal EMEA and VP & Head of EMEA Legal MGS Location: Bangalore, India **Job Profile** **Position details** - MUFG is looking to legal counsels (India Qualified and enrolled with BCI, India) at Manager level with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in vendor/commercial contracting space. The proposed new hires will assist in flow commercial contract activity and to further strengthen the MGS EMEA and APAC Legal team delivery model. The selected candidates will provide support to the EMEA and APAC teams with drafting, negotiation, review, and risk assessment support for a wide range of vendor contracts including technology, market data and consultancy contracts as a BAU in addition to ad-hoc responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time. . **Roles and Responsibilities** **-** Review, draft, negotiate and finalize vendor contracts. - Legal risk mitigation - Ensure compliance with internal policies with escalation. - Support contract process and coordinate with TPRM, Procurement, Data Privacy and business teams across EMEA and APAC business. - Assist legal operations to maintain contract records and support process improvements **.** **Job Requirements -** Legal Professionals with relevant experience of 5 to 8 years in complex commercial contracting (sales/vendor side) - India Qualified Lawyers - Bar Council Registration is mandatory Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is an equal opportunity employer.
