By combining our expert professional technicians, commercial best practices, extensive facilities knowledge and strong commitment to reliable, responsive service, we enable our government clients to achieve consistently high-performance facilities, on-time projects and long-term value. **Job Title Maintenance Mechanic (FDIC)** **Job Summary:** EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for **Maintenance Mechanic** in **Arlington VA.** This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Conduct a routine assessment of the building systems operations + Perform tests, tours and analyzes data to assure the proper operation of building machinery. + Perform perform minor repairs, preventive maintenance and service requests on building equipment, machinery and components located in the interior or exterior of the building. + Performs maintenance on all plumbing in buildings including water and sanitation systems. + Perform snow removal. + Trains Maintenance Helpers to increase their skills. + Assist Engineers. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** + 3 - 6 years' experience in a commercial environment. + Current CFC Universal License + 2 years EMS experience + Must be able to work any shift assigned + Must be to work weekends. + Must be able to work overtime. + Must be able to work safely. + Must be a self-starter. + Must be willing to adhere to company policies. **Physical Demands:** + Work requires an abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, and working in uncomfortable positions. **As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we** **offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
