Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Everett, WA
Shift : 1st Shift
Pay: $45 to $55 per hour
Position Overview
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will design, improve, and integrate manufacturing systems, equipment, and processes to support production efficiency, product quality, and cost reduction. You’ll work cross-functionally to support new product introductions, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure manufacturability of new designs.
Key Responsibilities
· Analyze and design methods, procedures, layouts, fixtures, and tooling for efficiency and quality.
· Identify and resolve manufacturing problems, equipment failures, and safety issues.
· Recommend cost reduction initiatives and process improvements.
· Participate in product design reviews and evaluations.
· Coordinate with teams to ensure manufacturability and process capabilities for new products.
· Develop SOPs for new and updated manufacturing equipment and systems.
· Collaborate with quality, production, and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues.
· Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
· Develop manufacturing instructions and train operators on processes and equipment.
· Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety practices.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
· 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
· Strong understanding of manufacturing methods, materials, and quality systems.
· Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma tools required.
· CAD proficiency/design background is a plus.
· Comfortable working hands-on on the manufacturing floor.
· Ability to read, speak, and follow instructions in English.
· Must be able to wear and properly use PPE.
· Candidates must be a U.S. Person (Citizen or Permanent Resident) for compliance with ITAR/EAR regulations.
