The Shipping Order Picker is responsible for accurately assembling finished goods orders according to shipping pick lists. This role ensures products are picked, scanned, stacked, and staged safely and efficiently to support on-time shipments while maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Assemble finished goods orders in accordance with Shipping Pick List requirements.
• Scan products as required using RF or barcode scanning equipment.
• Notify Supervision promptly of inventory discrepancies or issues.
• Stack products neatly and safely following established warehouse procedures.
• Stage completed pallets in designated areas and communicate pallet locations to Supervision.
• Assist with general housekeeping duties using approved cleaning equipment.
• Work cooperatively with warehouse, shipping, and other personnel.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Preferred experience as order picker or other warehouse position
• Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallets jacks and other warehouse equipment
• Able to read and write in English
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable and predictable attendance required.
Physical Requirements
• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the work shift.
• Must be able to bend, reach, and handle materials safely throughout the shift.
Work Environment
• Warehouse environment with exposure to moving equipment, pallets, and varying temperatures.
• Use of material handling equipment and scanning devices.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
Wage: $17 per hour
