Position Description: 

Family in downtown Indy is looking for a part time nanny for their 8 month old baby boy. Must have experience with infants, be responsible, reliable and communicative!  Seeking candidate who is proactive and creates fun and creative ideas to promote baby milestones. Montessori background would be a plus, but not required. Schedule would be Monday - Friday 10a-4p.   Outings are encouraged to places like parks, splash pads, library, and museums. Added responsibilities while the baby is napping include washing bottles, doing the baby’s laundry, unloading the dishwasher, preparing the baby’s meals and keeping home tidy. 1 year commitment preferred.   

• Private Nanny Placements: Wages vary by experience,  nanny positions start at $17.00/hour - up to $21.00/hr

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• We are looking for an engaging, child-focused individuals who are willing to have fun, play, read, do arts and crafts and other activities, and provide an attentive and safe environment for the children in their care.
• 2+ years childcare, babysitter or nanny experience, preferably including infant and toddler experience.
• Must have a reliable insured vehicle for travel to family homes.
• Minimum age of 18, valid driver’s license
• Hold a high school diploma/GED
• CPR trained or willing to receive training
