Mercy Hospital Joplin is seeking a full-time Radiation Oncologist to join our well-established Commission on Cancer accredited cancer center in Joplin, Missouri. • Mature practice treating approximately 25 patients per day
• Staff: 1 RN, 1 prior authorization, 3RTT’s (1 supervisor), I PhD physicist, 1 CMD, and the Director.
• Elekta Versa HD, 120 leaf MLC, Hexapod robotic couch
• Mosaiq OIS, RayStation treatmnent planning system
• C-RAD optical surface guidance
• GE 580RT large bore CT Simulator
• Cancer Center has 4 Oncology providers
• CoC accredited comprehensive community cancer program
• Nurse Navigators involved in cancer care, Oncology Social Worker
• Multidisciplinary tumor board on site weekly
• Radiation Oncology Department is adjacent to Oncology and the Infusion Center with onsite pharmacy
• Cancer Center has its own dedicated parking lot
• Active Research program
• Teaching Affiliation with Kansas City University with ability to have medical students in clinic with a stipend
