The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Strong communication and collaboration with patients, providers, and other team members are critical.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in Med/Surg.
- Clinical Assessment, Medication Administration, and Treatment Planning skills
- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for field work
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- ACLS certification.
Special Considerations:
- Mandatory float facility; all resources are required to float at the facility's discretion.
- Must live within 75 miles of the facility.
- Scrub color: Navy Blue.
- Parking cost: *****/day at Juvenile Temporary Detention Center (JTDC). A shuttle runs every 15 minutes between Stroger and JTDC.
Scheduling:
- 3x12s shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM.
- Every other weekend/ 2 weekends per month.
- No block scheduling.
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
- No RTO the day prior or after a holiday.
- No RTO on weekends.
- Maximum of 5 days RTO with no more than 2 consecutive days.
- No holiday RTO.
