Respiratory Therapist
Location: Ocala, FL 34474
Shifts Available: Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Salary Range:

• Less than 1 year: $27.42/hour

• 2-3 years: $29.89/hour

• 4-5 years: $31.12/hour

• 6-7 years: $32.36/hour

• 9-10+ years: $33.59/hour

• 16+ years: $36.95/hour
  Shift Differential: $3.25/hour for Nights
  Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (Days) | $25,000 (Nights)
  Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis

Position Overview:

Join the respiratory care team at Ocala Health , which includes a 256-bed facility and a 174-bed facility serving Marion County and surrounding areas. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) , you will be responsible for delivering safe, effective respiratory care across a wide range of patient populations, including critical care cases in a Level II Trauma Center .

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer all respiratory therapy procedures in accordance with protocols

• Operate and manage acute care ventilators for mechanical ventilation

• Maintain accurate and timely department documentation and records

• Perform independently in the absence of a team leader

• Collaborate with medical staff to support positive patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist

• Must hold or be eligible for Florida RRT licensure

• CRT experience will not be considered
