Scrum Master (Junior/Senior)

Location: DMV Area

Required: US Citizen/Permanent Resident

Position Description

The Scrum Master leads the Agile process for one or more Scrum Teams. This individual is responsible for ensuring delivery and releases are within scope. The Scrum Master is also responsible for the ongoing development of the team and the continued improvement of the development process, product quality, and quantity of work delivered. This role guides and coaches the Scrum Team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Agile process for one or more Scrum Teams.
• Ensure delivery and releases are within scope.
• Be responsible for the ongoing development of the team.
• Be responsible for the continued improvement of the development process.
• Be responsible for the continued improvement of product quality and quantity of work delivered.
• Guide and coach the Scrum Team.

Requirements

Education:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a related field.

Experience

• Scrum Master (Junior):
• General Experience: Must have at least three (3) years of relevant experience.
• Scrum Master certification is typically preferred.
• Scrum Master (Senior):
• General Experience: Must have at least seven (7) years of relevant experience.
• Scrum Master certification is typically preferred.
