Our Organization and Mission: The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States.

Position Summary: This is an experienced Attorney position within the Office of the Attorney General Capital Collateral Unit. This position will assist the Bureau Chief as needed in reviewing the work of staff and mentoring AAGs and A-AAGs. Communicate with the Associate Deputy, State Attorney offices and court personnel concerning case matters as needed in the Bureau Chief’s absence.

Other Requirements: An extensive comprehension of criminal law, constitutional law and federal habeas corpus practice is preferred.
Trial and/or appellate experience and an ability to handle time constraints; complex legal analysis and multifaceted litigation are minimal requirements.
