In this role, you will efficiently and accurately assemble components and materials according to plans and specifications. You will work with metal cladding, insulation, and steel components, requiring experience in carpentry, roofing, material handling, and mechanical assembly. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment is essential. **Responsibilities** + Assemble structural metal building panels in a manufacturing setting. + Operate hand and power tools effectively. + Accurately use measuring devices including squares and tape measures. + Participate in safe material handling and suspended load movements. + Follow instructions and execute assigned duties promptly. + Complete tasks within set timeframes to meet production goals. + Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Sheet metal fabrication, installation, and repair. + Blueprint reading and interpretation. + Experience with construction and mechanical assembly. + Ability to read tape measure down to 1/16th inch. + High school diploma, GED, or vocational degree. + 2+ years of experience in siding, roofing, metalworking, or assembly. + Skillful operation of non-specialized shop equipment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to select and operate proper tools for tasks. + Participation in process development for repeatable execution. + Capability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment. + Physical fitness to lift up to 70 pounds and maintain full mobility. **Why Work Here?** + Competitive pay scale. + Comprehensive health benefits: medical, dental, vision. + Company-paid and supplemental life insurance. + Short-term disability, accident, and hospital insurance. + Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays. + 401(k) retirement plan with employer match. + Employee Referral Bonus Program. **Work Environment** + Open-air building with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and odors. + Collaborative team of 2-3 people. + Overtime opportunities based on performance. + Friday shifts: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. + Requires full range of mobility and ability to work in various positions (stooping, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
