Sheet Metal Roofing Professional

Preserve History Through Skilled Craftsmanship

The Tradesmen Group LLC (TTG) is seeking experienced sheet metal roofers to join our restoration teams working on historic properties throughout the Midwest and Southeast. This is a long-term role for talented tradespeople with at least two years of hands-on experience in sheet metal roofing, including copper work and flashing installation.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely remove existing roofing systems and components per project specifications
• Measure, cut, and fabricate sheet metal parts both in-shop and on-site
• Install roofing systems following SMACNA, NRCA, and CDA standards
• Perform traditional copper soldering using soldering irons
• Maintain clean, organized job sites in coordination with the roofing crew

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of sheet metal roofing experience , including demolition
• Ability to work independently and stay focused without direct supervision
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal detailing and fabrication techniques
• Familiarity with roofing tools, construction equipment, and basic carpentry
• OSHA 10 certification (must be completed before starting)
• Must be able to pass a federal background check for security clearance
