Position Overview

This position primarily focuses on completing customer deliveries using a company-provided small single-axle delivery dump truck. When deliveries are not scheduled, the role supports yard operations by operating heavy equipment.

We are seeking a self-motivated, dependable team player with strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service. Delivery and equipment experience are preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. We hire for attitude first.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided small delivery dump truck
• Use GPS navigation to efficiently reach delivery locations
• Communicate professionally with customers and office/yard staff
• Provide excellent customer service on every delivery
• Perform basic truck maintenance (fluid checks, general inspections)
• Follow all company policies and safety regulations
• When not delivering, operate heavy equipment including wheel loaders, excavators, and other yard machinery
• Perform basic equipment maintenance such as checking oil levels and greasing

Schedule

• Monday–Friday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
• Saturday: 7:45 AM – 12:00 PM (March–September only)
• Average weekly hours: 40–55
• Closed the two weeks surrounding Christmas and New Year’s Day
• During peak season (March–May), end times may occasionally extend to 5:15–5:30 PM depending on assigned loads

• Starting at $17.00/hour+ , based on experience

Requirements

• Punctual, dependable, and able to work at a fast pace with attention to detail
• Excellent attendance is required
• Strong communication skills for working with coworkers and customers
• Customer-service focused mindset
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Provide clean/near clean driving record-no DUIs. reckless driving, etc. Can be obtained from BMV website or BMV branch/kiosk. Must bring to in person interview or emailed to jglenzy@greencycle.com prior to interview.
